A brand is much more than just a logo
When we talk about marketing, it revolves around the brand. Either it is done to retain the old customers or find the new one, or to keep up the pace with the competition of the industry. Branding of a brand involves a lot of activates to keep it highlighted in the race and its logo work is one of the most essential work. It may be small part of branding but it matters a lot.
- Aspects of branding
A brand is an offering. That brand has many aspects to it. From the procurement function to the sales function, from marketing function to the customer service and many more. The logo designing comes under the umbrella of marketing category for the brand. In the marketing departing comes the digital department which handles the logo designing and other pan flexes that are required.
- Out sourcing the work
These days very few of the companies keep their own design department in their company for logo designing, they usually outsource the work to a digital agency which hires different designers to get their work done from them. So the company gets its work done from the other people by paying a fees that gets charged to them but if it is branding so almost all the companies have internal branding teams for all of their brands. Branding is something which a company should not outsource because they know the real value of their brand.
- A sub-work to the actual brand
Hence it is proved that the actual logo is just a small part of the bigger phenomenon which is called the brand. It serves its purpose like pushing the brand upward in the revenue generating way in an implied way. It does by making a mark for the brand that it is associated with. And the domino effect takes places when the people start recognizing that certain brand with the actual logo that it has, which in turn attracts them to do purchases for them. Hence brand is much bigger than the logo.
